Since returning from London where she studied for her interior Design degree and worked extensively with world renowned English designer Kelly Hoppen, Dominique Tiller has garnered a reputation for her unique take on refined luxury for the residential and commercial market, specialising in top-end hotels and commercial holiday retreats.
“I thoroughly believe that our interior spaces and the environment we live in have a huge impact on our sense of well-being and happiness,” she says. To this end, Dominique Tiller works closely with her clients to create spaces that not only reflect their personality and design sensibilities but also help to restore their sense of balance.
Her personal design mantra comes not from a contemporary design icon, but from the simple Craftsman’s Story of 1905 which, for her, still holds true today:
Just as we should be truthful and frank ourselves, and look for these same moral qualities in those whom we select as our friends, so should the things with which we surround ourselves in our homes be truthful and frank. We are influenced by our surroundings more than we imagine.
